Story of the sale : EXCEPTIONAL SALES REFERENCE – ACQUISITION OF A FAMILY HOME IN CAGNES-SUR-MER
The real estate agency I represent recently had the privilege of accompanying a client and her family in the realization of a real estate project that was close to her heart. The origin of our initial contact dates back to the discovery by this client, living in the Paris region, of one of our recent sales stories . This story, relating the sale of a family home in La Gaude as part of an inheritance with 3 sisters, filled with emotion, particularly resonated with her own approach and sensitivity. And so she sent us the following message:

It’s not every day that I also receive this type of message that immediately stands out from the crowd, and makes you stop what you are doing, challenged, grabbed, by a sensitive person who also sees in Real Estate, the Human. Touched in turn by his story, I gladly immerse myself in it. His project was clearly defined: the acquisition of a large family home, ideally with at least four bedrooms, a pleasant plot of land and, if possible, a view of the sea. The research sector initially envisaged extended from Menton to Antibes, testifying to a certain geographical openness, the main difficulty in a “multi-city” project.
Based on the trust that this customer placed in us from the very first exchange, we have implemented a close and transparent collaboration. A rigorous selection process was carried out, fuelled both by our proposals and by the properties that the client identified and submitted to us for investigation. A dozen properties were selected for a targeted visit during a stay organised in October on the Côte d’Azur. These visits took place in a warm and family atmosphere, in the presence of her partner, her daughter and one of her 4-year-old granddaughters, Lily, whose endearing presence enhanced our visits and transformed each appointment into a moment of exchange of pure kindness.
It was finally in Cagnes-sur-Mer that the property was discovered that met their aspirations. Located about ten minutes walk from the coast, it offers an appreciable balance between the tranquility of a residential environment and the proximity of amenities. This strategic location quickly seduced our client, who is a fan of walking and aware of the compromises necessary to reconcile calm and accessibility in our region.
The house itself had major advantages: an interior requiring little or no work, the number of bedrooms required, a large workshop/studio (former art gallery of the previous owner), an unobstructed view of the sea and an exceptional panorama of the picturesque village of Cagnes-sur-Mer. From the first visit, a palpable emotion invaded the premises, an often precursory sign of a deep match between a property and its future occupants. A not so frequent sign. We made sure to let our client explore the house at her own pace, allowing her to soak up its atmosphere. The revisit, a few days later, carried out with his daughter, only confirmed their feeling that this house really corresponded to their life project.
An offer is made, transmitted, defended, transformed. We are particularly proud to have contributed to finding the property that corresponded so precisely to our client’s expectations. The kindness and cordial understanding that marked our exchanges, both with her and with her family, were appreciable and recalled the atmosphere of the sale of the house of La Gaude, which had initially aroused her interest.
